The Low Gel is at least as high as the stock at the front end. It only really gets low toward the rear. If you weigh under 70 and have a boney ass dont expect much improvement. Imho an extra pair of socks, or going indian will get your feet on the ground as effectivly as this seat Spend the money on a pair of boots instead! If you still have $200 to spare, sure get it, I have one so obviously i reccomend it |

I have a perfect like new standard height Triumph Gel seat for my 08' Daytona 675.
I want to trade it for the shorter, thinner Triumph gel seat. I'll pay shipping. PM me me! Thanks! |

Very useful comparison. I just ordered a low gel from eBay. Anxious to see and feel for myself. Seller "triumphdetroit" is selling a few for 85 obo right now for those who are also interested.

I'm about 5'9" and I'm looking for a lower seat so I can flatfoot the bike. Does anyone have any height information on sargent or corbin? I would also like a more comfy seat if I'm going to buy a new one...
Also, how is the comfort level of a shaved down stock seat? Seeing as this could save me some $$ |

I also have a low seat, and although I agree that it is a negligible difference in height, it does look a lot better than the stock seat - i.e. stitching, contrasting materials, etc. :)

I have the low gel seat and I definitely notice a difference in height. And I agree that it looks way better than the stock seat. It doesn't feel much different though.

GEL seats all the way! i bought my bike off of somebody with the gel seat on it already, he gave me the stock seat as well. I have been riding with the gel seat since i got the bike(about a month) and decided to try out the stock seat. I noticed the difference as soon as I took the bike out the driveway. Gel seats all the way, especially if your going on long rides!
