I am looking to see if there is any interest in anyone wanting to buy this bike or trade me for a race ready 08+ CBR1000RR
Since I got the bike I have done some work to it but I am still going to sell it for the same price I bought it for. The gas tank that was originally on the bike was damaged but it was fixed, although once the cold weather hit the stuff used to fix it completely cracked open but it did come with a spare tank but just needs a tiny 1/8" hole welded so I am going to take it to a radiator shop and get the tank fixed. Also I have checked the valves and they are within spec, the engine looks healthy, no scratches on the cam lobes or excessive build up or discoloration on the intake side. Also while checking the valves I cleaned the throttle bodies off and got rid of most of the dirt and build up around the engine area as best as possible. Before I bought the bike the previous owner just had the forks serviced with new seals/ oil, engine oil is still good not even a trackday on it, barely broken in EBC race pads and brake fluid with new Galfer lines. The bike is currently stored in my basement so serious inquiries only please! I don't want to be dragging this thing in and out of the basement. Here are the mods: 4300.00 firm Titanium full system Arrow race exhaust with Triumph's race ECU Race Tech 20mm internals in forks Ohlins 3-way rear shock Vortex sprockets w, DID chain Woodcraft rearsets Woodcraft Clip-ons Woodcraft Case covers, both sides GPR Damper PowerCommander w/ quickshift Sharkskins bodywork carbon fiber tank sliders Stompgrip on tank Brand new set of EBC Extreme Pro Front Brake Pads Brand new Galfer Stainless Steel Braided Race lines Fresh Brake Fluid Fresh Oil change with Filter Brand new Fork Seals, with Fresh Fork oil Comes with spare fuel tank, and handful of other spare parts BMC Race Air filter Manual cam chain tensioner Of course here are the pics: http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/k...930_172747.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/k...930_172728.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/k...930_172704.jpg

I've seen this bike in person, and considered buying it before Rink bought it.
I was impressed by how well it's put together. Lots of goodies here. ![]() In the end, I decided to keep running my R6 on the track. $4,300 is a bargain. GLWTS.

Never mind, I can't sell this bike.....honestly love it too much! I think this not being able to ride is what's messing with my head.

Good choice! Use it all of next year then make the decision if you want to sell it or not. I bet you'll be keeping it though
. It's an awesome bike. I'd personally rather have it be my track bike than a measly 155hp CBR1000RR (only about 30hp more... get a real liter bike if you get one!)
