Is it just me or do some of those guys have fairly poor body position?

I thought the same thing... But they are fast and none lowsided... Maybe coz of the walls they don't hang off more... Maybe some hard core racers have some insight...

Some of those riders are a different breed. If you watch John McGuiness, he hardly gets off the bike. However, he is obviously very fast.
I remember one of the announcers at the IOMTT reffered to him as, "Steady Eddy".

Most the fast guys there are old & still use the crossed up Mick Doohan style body position.
