After 7,500 miles, I'm still getting 38-47 mph at 75-85 MPH (lower is sitting up, higher is tucked), anywhere between 43-49 at 50-65 MPH, and averaging 34-38 MPG when mostly around in the city (a whole lot of traffic lights around town).
Not too bad at all. |

I hadn't really been paying attention but I think I'm getting around 50 mpg on my commute. I usually top off with a little over 2 gallons after my 110 round-trip ride. Just out of curiosity I might try that Fuelly site to keep track.

I've found the lower the rpm the better mileage. 4-5k is fine but the acceleration won't be there in the higher gears if you want it, but that doesn't matter when you're just cruising. Prob can't shift much lower than 4k.

I'm typically in the 40's just fartin' around the backroads.

I consistently get 36-38 and I use the throttle pretty heavily.
