Went for a 130+ mile lap to warm up the oil prior to changing it.

Ouch, sorry to hear that. Is the bike repairable? Very glad to hear you walked away!

Ohhh no!

See what happens when I'm not around to look after you?

Which corner?

Did the cops come?

Is the bike a write-off?

Lastly, did you wreck those sexy new jeans ?

Ha Spooky - am sure you'll hear all about it :(
It was an easy corner, god knows what happened - stick or oil? the bikes most likely a write off.
Those gorgeous jeans now have a large hole in the knee, but at least I'm only missing small parts of my knee
Crossing fingers for a write off so I can go get a new bike quick smart. Debating getting another street or going a speed.

Also thanks Kiz :) its good to walk away.

Cops did come but the number plate and rego got ripped off and no one was with the bike for them to question. Sub frame was snapped in 2 places and the battery was sitting on the tyre.
Do you know what was the most irritating bit about it - the frikking alarm STILL worked!

While the speed is a great bike, it is way heavier than the street...and bigger, too.

You are only small and light weight and I believe that the speed would be too much for you.

It's a very nice bike, but for flying through the tight twisties the streety is the best.

Better get a new pair of those jeans, too ...

Hi Trix.

Sorry to hear of your "incident" but happy that you walked away in one piece.

Pity about those jeans, tho. :-)

I heard that you had a wee ride on the Speedie up and down the hill, so I guess you liked that.

regards,CrazyCam
