Folks, I just purchased a used 2012R and have the Arrow Slip on in the mail. The dealership told me that the stock map works fine, but a mechanic I know confirmed what everyone else is saying on the forum that there is a specific map for the Arrow Slip on.
I was planning on installing the slip on myself, but now it looks like I'll need to re-flash the ECU. I've seen a USB cable for the Daytona's but folks here are referencing a Triumph "hand held computer" as well. What are are the appropriate steps to upload the map? Where do I find the map online? And what specific tools would I need for the flash (USB cable, hand held computer, etc.)? Thanks so much! CW |

Cable -- http://www.easy-motorcycle.com/obd2-...oda-p-112.html
Software -- http://www.tomhamburg.net/TuneECU_En/links.html Guide -- http://www.triumph675.net/forum/showthread.php?t=44225 You will need to plug the cable into a computer so a laptop is also needed. |
