Saddlemen Track seat, black/white D3 grips and red RC2 shorty levers on the way. This was a fun little and very simple project this morning. The GB covers were a snap to install, too.
What brought me to the LSL Crash Pad, and what made me spend the money on it, is the way they mount to the frame. The bracket doesn't cross the engine case, but instead follows the line of the frame. The main support is the front engine mount, with stabilization mounting up on the top radiator mount. Really cleverly done, and by the looks of it, the frame would take the brunt of a hard fall that deforms the crash pad mount rather than the engine. 6 of one, half a dozen of the other, but these look awesome! ![]() ![]()

Spot-on, actually! Tri-coat glittery layer and all.

Yeah, I got the LSL crash pads for my bike too. I wanted a multi-point mounting on the sliders, and I really liked the way they looked. Not to mention the slider on it is removable/replaceable....although I hope not to have to. hah. Looks good man.
