Been looking at a 2011 675 se at a pre-owned dealer, 2900 miles asking $10k, talked it down to $9200 out the door. They mentioned that it is a consignment sale and the bike hasn't been paid off in full yet by the original owner. Do consignment sales usually mean less room for bargaining with the price?

I don't know if there are any hard fast rules, but in general the more parties involved the more hands in the pot, the less in the pot means everyone gets less. If you can negotiate a price that give you the tittle free and clear it's yours.

So if you pay the 9200 do you get the title? I mean if not then I would just go buy a new one for 10k.......really and truly, Id just go buy a new one anyways since its only 800 diff in price

Yeah but that $800 difference becomes more like $2000 OTD

Probably becuase $10K doesn't include the shipping and setup cost of $800 that Triumph charges, then there's title and registration fees.

I'd wave the b.s. flag on that price. I paid $8500 for my 2010 SE with 2000 miles on the dot.
