Neandrathal,
Trying to sort thru this before i go to the dealer for my replacement... What makes you say that the recall kit is in fact the FH012 mosfet kit vs just an updated OE type SCR R/R? Got my recall notice. I'm VIN #269408 so my new repl p/n should be T1301234 according to that printout. Can anyone uploaded a complete copy of that new p/n printout? Thanks!

got my notice last week, too. It stated that if you already replaced the R/R prior to the recall, you may be entitled to compensation. I guess that applies if you had a failed R/R replaced by Triumph. Has anyody tried that route?

So, did you replace r/r yourself pre-emptively, or did Triumph replace a failed one and charge you for it?
How much did they reimburse you for...did you have to show receipts if (if you did the swap yourself)? |

When the recall went out I asked my dealer who I could speak to at Triumph to try and get reimbursed for my outlay. He just got in touch for me and sorted it out. It's taken a while mind, couple of months down the line and just been told the dosh is on the way. I had to provide a receipt, or at least let my dealer know when I bought it so he could trace it on his computer system. However I had the receipt. Around £190 and I expect to get the full amount back. If not I will be moaning. |

I have just posted photos of the old and new R/R side by side so you can see the differences: http://www.triumph675.net/forum/show...812#post888812
