Dainese Store Chicago is selling these new boots for
$170.97 including shipping.
This is a bit cheaper than I have seen on other sites.

A lot better then tennis shoes or hiking boots though.

they dont look like they have any protection for a motorcycle boot

No toe sliders
no ankle protectoin
ankle not encapsulated
No bottom sole protection
no shin slider

for $150 you can get cortech latigo's (and air version) Not a high end boot but a good value boot that offers solid protection for the money. I understand not everyone can afford to dump $300-500 on boots. I think the cortechs really fill that void.
