Yeah, you guessed it. It IS a motorcycle forum, but one that has an off topic area for subjects such as this. Why did you even visit "the pit" section if you were expecting things directly related to motorcycles?

Umm because all unread post starting with the most recent are displayed under the "unread" heading regardless of what section they were posted to

I find it funny that people want to wax nostalgic about the past and how much "better" things used to be. Maybe if you were White, Male, and Christian. The reality is that the demographics of the USA are changing. Whatever party wants to have political power in the future is going to need to understand that.

You are not going to read it because you are an idiot and know you got served.

The only thing socialist about this country is the stupidity people like you spread everyday. Congrats.

Keep thinking the president is the one doing the evil deeds, but in its whole it is the entire government which includes all three branches. I am going to guess you have to Google those three branches, but anyways, every president can say he wants something to pass, but it still has to go through the other two branches to become anything.

So congrats on being the typical redneck American following what the typical new media is telling you to believe and then going to Google to look up those words you just heard.

God it is people like you that make me realize why I have given up on hoping for the future for this country.

So then they get thrown a bunch of stupid bullshit that has nothing of real value like religion, etc.. and they worry about that instead of this country actually working on bettering ourselves and focusing on fixing our weak points like our education system, roads/highways, economy, and just the well being of our citizens.

But you get these stupid ****s throwing stuff like oh he went to this church instead of this church or something of that matter, or the best part like these idiots throwing socialism around like they even have a clue of how that system works without having to wikipedia it. I fail to see how our country is becoming a socialized government from having people buy into healthcare, while I think the initial idea Obama has put out there needs a lot of work I see nothing wrong with having people have healthcare coverage. I rather pay into that knowing a child can go get help then save a few dollars.

And if this country is socialist, then most states must already be a form of socialized government considering many states make you buy into several things.

But anyways I rather come there for the women haha the accents are mmmmmmmmmmm

And let us not forget that the biggest socialized part of our government just so happens to be our very own military.

All these words you guys are using make me cringe...government, socialist, democrat, tax, vote, wtf is the matter with you?

Half the reason I bought a bike and joined this forum is so that I can temporarily escape all this madness that mankind CHOOSES to put itself through.

Don't you see it doesn't matter, everything is backwards, we now live in a world where to pick an apple off a tree gets a slap on the hand, where it is illegal to catch wild salmon, but not illegal to farm salmon, illegal to catch a wild turkey without paying for tags, permits, etc, cheaper to go to the "store" and "buy" a pink bleached chicken on steroids that will feed more people.

Water, one of our few last connections to mother earth, has been surrounded with factories and assembly lines, now you cannot drink without "$" you can't eat without $! I read somewhere that America generates over 1 billion pounds of FOOD WASTE A YEAR...all while people are still starving, children dying around the world.

Yet here we are talking this nonsense, getting excited, excitement creates distraction, distraction creates vulnerability...Talking about 4 years from now, the truth is we are not promised tomorrow. Ugh wake up.

This is why it's the pit, if you don't like it don't read it. You didn't have to click on this yet you did. That is your choice, no one else's. So congrats only person to blame is yourself, and since so many people get butt hurt over politics only one time every four years, like it really matters. People are going to make these types of threads, since they did not get their way they now have to cry about it

I've lived in countries where the government was as small as some stupid people fantasize but never experiment.

There's a reason why they say the fantasy's always better than the reality.

The slower you move, the more dangerous your bike is... I'll let you work out the conclusion from there

That has very little to do with what I saying, but okie dokie. I wasn't mentioning much of anything to do with unread posts... nor how they're displayed.

I used to be much the same way shortly after I was old enough to vote. While I still feel the same way, I vote now, as a way of "damage control". While no one necessarily deserves my vote, I'd much rather have someone that'll be closest to representing how I feel be in power, then not vote at all and risk having a right wing idiot come to power.

Im quite left wing, I find a highly regulatory government being a mass hindrance. Two of my co-workers are from Russia, and are now old enough to be my dad, as they left 'the motherland' shortly after communism fell to escape the chaos that fell upon the land right after in the early 90's.
Some of the atrocities and stories they have about that place while it was still communist controlled are quite honestly mind blowing. Even today, you honestly couldn't pay me enough to live there and have to endure that place.
As isolated as some people would think that is, much the same could be said about almost all post-communist (and even socialist) countries.
