That is hideous. I mean, it's great that you built it yourself, but really, kill it with fire.

I say cut the pea shooter barrels off . If the bike runs great with the pipes I would just get a good ceramic coat on them and take that bbq sh!t paint off . It's too raw for a refined bike .
Just my input . |

Does look a bit unfinished. Needs another piece to smooth out the "gun" look. Make it look more like a cone at the end with a hole cut out. An end cap of sorts, or just some more welded sheet metal to get it finished. Then respray.

Its retro triumph cans. I had a triumph trident back in the day. It had a 3 to 2 header with dual cans with the fat center sections. This is a prototype. New internal design and now I know what it sounds like. Still a bit too loud for my taste so I am working on making another set with my original design. Its quieter and a bit more restrictive but still open pipe free flow design.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZQ0bIrFoBU My zzr with dual cans. Four cyclinder 600 cc. That design. Watch about 1 minute of the vid and you get the idea. I traded the z in for my str. |
