That R6 body style is still one of my favorites.

First bike was a Hyosung GT250, had it for a year. Stock standard, with holes drilled through the pipe lol sounded like a sloppy fart. Dropped it countless times and high sided it once. Still sold it for the same amount as I bought it

Second bike was a 2008 Husaberg FS650e, had it for about 18 months, really regret selling it. Had so much fun on it, backin it in, slidin it out, wheelies... One day I plan on having another big bore motard....

Third, and current, bike is a 2008 Daytona. have had it since June last year. Haven't done much to it, other than a PCIII and a Competition Werkes slip on. I'm definitely keeping this one a while

Sorry Tex, I didn't see your reply until now. In that pic, basicly the only things stock 99' ZRX1100 were the frame and body panels. I bought the turbocharger and had Ryan Langford(a friend who lived in Burien Washington) build the turbo system and tune it once myself and a few local friends were done building the motor. I started with a stock ZZR1200 motor and had the connecting rods shot peened by a local company. Pistons I sourced from another friend who also had a turbo 1224 bike. He had two sets of custom pistons made by Ross Pistons http://www.rosspistons.com/index.php with lower compression for turbo application so I bought his spare set and had them thermo coated by a local company. The crankshaft was lightened by APE http://www.aperaceparts.com/crankwork.html and the cylinder boring/plating done by Millennium Technologies http://www.mt-llc.com/index.php . Ryan wired the hazard switch(appropriately enough) to act as a two stage boost controller. Normal(switch out) was set up for around 8psi boost. With the switch pushed in, boost was 15psi. The only dyno run I did with the bike running 91 octane pump fuel at 15psi resulted in 241 hp and 177 ft lbs torque. With the stock length swingarm(with additional bracing welded in) the bike was a wheelie machine!
It was a fun experience owning it but it was my only bike at the time. It needed constant tinkering and I wanted something I could just hop on and ride. I eventually parted it out and used the funds for my next bike.
