Default Recallllll!

Got a reg/rec recall notice in the mail today for my 09.
I know the issue's been discussed here in length and wanted mine replaced when I heard of it but was told by the dealer 2 years ago and members of the forum it won't be replaced until it strands me/goes bad.
Anybody else get one?

The item as recently been changed to a "call to action" (I think that's the term the dealer used). Basically they will swap the r/r units regardless if it is properly functioning. I've put in my claim and just waiting for part to come in.

Yes, I got mine in the mail today. I had mine changed out on my 2009 Streety right after I bought her in 2010 due to excessive heating/burning to the unit. My MOSFET unit has worked flawlessly since it was installed so guys get er done

The other question is why didn't they take me off the recall list? I am going to check with the dealer to make sure they don't have another version of the MOSFET.

The letter states if you have had it replaced you can be reimbursed.

Does this process go directly through Triumph USA or through the dealer. Many of us proactively replaced our R/R's long ago. My "replacement" R/R went out and was replaced by Triumph, lol (it was a Triumph R/R).
