from 5,900miles to 17,xxx in 1 year

Well as some of you know I bought this baby back in October last year. I bought it off a marine who barley rode it, and was about to have his first kid. I stole it for the price of $5,800. This is back when you couldn't even find a used one or hardly a new one in the dealers.

So far she has been great. Minor issues here and there, but its basically been my daily commuter for a solid 10 months. Bike still has stock chain,spocket,etc... still on stock seat (really need a new one), only on its 2nd set of tires. And has run great other then the R/R and Stator issue I had. With those things sorted out its been great. I weigh 225lbs and it will still lift the front tire in first with me on doing power pulls onto the highway (lots of fun).

Gets a constant 41-43mpg doing 95% highway riding at 70-85MPH. She has gone on 3hour one way trips with me and was just fine cruising on the highway.

Power wise it just has a removed intake screen, drop in K&N, and modded Danmoto mufflers. Stock tune still. Love this bike!

I did 16k miles from April '11 to June '12. 1k miles per month average on my 2008 Streety LOL, but did have two months of downtime in the winter so the average is a bit higher per month...

On the BMW R1200GS, much more comfortable, but haven't had ths same time to spend. Only 7300 miles from June to November! Holy crap that's 5 months and more than 1k a month and the bike was in the shop for 3 weeks LOL.

Great to see another person who actually rides the shit out of their bikes. Mine is on the road 5-6 days out of the week. I love my mustang, but with fuel prices so high, the Triumph gets ridden a lot!

When I had my XB12 I put 15k mi on it in a year. Now that Im local to Orlando the commute aint so bad and I have put 6500 on my Striple since July when i bought it.

We should go for a ride sometime Spike
