I finally got around to installing my Tech Specs (not in first picture), seat cowl, and bar end mirrors. Im still waiting on my flyscreen and the SW-Motech Frame Sliders to come in the mail. Today I took her out for a ride (about 10-15 miles @ 34 degrees), decided it was too cold and it was time to winterize. So I washed her, changed the oil, added some fuel stabilizer, and put her on a rear stand with a plank of wood under the front tire. I will remove the battery tomorrow. I didn't want to do it but I know my riding season has come to an end.
Oh well, at least I know she will be ready as soon as the weather gets a bit warmer. I might just add the comp werks exhaust and a tail tidy before spring so I have a reason to tinker with her. ![]() ![]()

Today I got one step closer to buying mine! Finally got the insurance pay out from the SV, which will serve as the down payment on the Street. :D next step is wait for the local shop to get a '13 in and hope they drop the price on the '12 they have on the floor now.

Hi! Newby to the forum, posting from sunny (but about to be wet) Canberra in Australia.
Today I received notification that my fender eliminator, intake mod and heel guards were on their way. I've only had the lovely Stella for 7 weeks so all my (cosmetic) mods are fairly new - belly pan, screen, cowl, evotech radiator guard, and a gb racing protection kit. Next on the list are mirrors, indicators, levers and a K&N air filter :) And here's the obligatory pic: Look forward to reading more about what everyone's doing to their bikes (yes I have read the entire thread!) |

Installed the Throttle Tamer. Much easier to roll on the throttle now, not so aggressive. We'll see if it stops the throttle closing when hitting bumps on the ighway when I actually get to go on a highway. Maybe the weekend?
