what up guys new guy to the forum but exp with riding already just got my 4th bike and happened to be a 2012 Daytona 675r pretty much love this machine everything about it is just awesome. Too bad where i live we have no curves or mountains or etc. So i stick to Drag racing, yes i know its not a drag bike and start talking shit about it. but id prefer a 675 over a Gsxr, cbr, zx.and r6s anytime.!

What times you been runnin with the r? And also did you notice a db difference from just the slip on to the gutted cat and slip on?

Hey man, I just my PR last night at A bike shoot out. I marked in at 10.6 at 130mph at the 1/4mile. And as far as sound, the bike sounds mean.! Look up my video on youtube if toy would username is Astat4

Nice looking bike. Its not usually a drag bike. Its so good in corners it almost seems like a waste. Almost though. Its not a total waste. Those are good times. The time slip adds cred too. There are a few good drag bike threads on here. Check them out. Good luck ripping up the 1/4 mile on 3 cylinders.

Yeah those are pretty good times! Just wondering how good of a launch did you get on that 10.6X time? And any recommendations for good launches?

My buddies got an 07 gsxr 600 and he thought he could beat me but I just raced him on a long straight out of town. Hes got a slip on and he went -1 and +2 in the back and I still was probably a bike length or two a head of him but he told me it didn't count because it wasn't on the strip:P

So i figured once I got my sprockets on I would take it to the track once just to shut him up:P

Well man I'm launching at 8k rpm and it just takes time and practice working that clutch out.
