I like the old design too. Even going back to the old oval frame first gen ones with the bubble fairings. I think they stopped making those in 2002 or something though. Aesthetically I like it better then everything that came after it.

gotta admit like the 2008+ ninja 250's, comfy, with enough get up and go to get you where you need. and the gas milage is awesome.

From what ive seen, this is the 2009+ SV650 that they sold in other countries. They are just bringing it back to america. i honestly dont know how the gladius fits in, or whether its true or not.

I am glad they are finally putting EFI on the new 300cc ninja, and I kinda wish I could justify picking one up. For her... yeah. totally for her...

Back to the new SV650 though.

They aren't all that great. Heavy, suspension sucks (though still a lot better than the 650), and it's terrible on gas. Puts out some good torque though.

I agree with the gladius statements. I liked the old sv becuase it was simple and didn't really seem to be trying to hard, which makes the lack of looks acceptable to me haha
