Question 2010 Daytona SE Value.

Hi guys.I'm the proud owner of a 09 red Daytona.I am considering buying a 2010 SE that has come up for sale with 10k miles,M5 tb pipe and 1050 throttle. The price is rather good aswell.Do you guys think this bike will raise in value being a SE?(There,s also an option of saving for 2013 but to be honest I'm not sure I like it).Regards and thanks for your input.

I'm no expert but I wouldn't pay a dollar more for a SE of anything unless it actually had upgrades other than cosmetic. I don't see it appreciating for 30-40 yrs if that's your question. Overall buying used is usually a better value, especially if you are unsure about liking the 2013.

Hardly anything besides classic cars and real estate appreciate in value. Even classic cars have to be very specific to be worth anything extra. Unless it has some tie to a famous person I can't see it being worth more.

Value, no. Buying replacement parts for it, maybe.

bikes hold no value! Honestly good luck.... Bikes around here sell for dirt cheap with no miles.

10K miles is alot for a used bike here.

Alot of it depends on where you are, Triumphs are REALLY rare here, so an SE is even rarer and really holds its value.

Mine had 11k and its the same 2010 SE, i wound up paying just under 10k for the bike, a few accessories, and a 12k tune up.

Yeah it was a bit pricey for everything, but i can honestly say im the only owner of this kind of bike within a 4 hour ride that i know of. The closest 675 owner i know of is almost two hours away

Not really, theres an R from a guy i know, part of the Charlotte RAT club. The SE i bought was his. But there is only one daytona on the showroom, its an R too.

I never asked why they dont keep daytonas in stock. Plenty of bonnies and a few striples though.

I honestly cant say how many are out there in NC, im just saying between the dealer, charlotte RAT, craigslist, and here on the forum i know of three of four, and only ever seen one other daytona.

Even then a 2006 with 4800 miles is going for almost 7k. They just hold their value here.
