Has anyone found pricing on the 2013 Triple and options like ABS?

Its listed in an artical at visor down but not in US $$$, looks like only a slight increase...

US pricing was announced today.

Standard Street Triple with switchable ABS $9,399.
Street Triple R with switchable ABS $9,999.

$500 difference between the R and the standard. Why would anyone buy the standard?

Oh, I forgot to add they did not release pricing for either of those without ABS. I'm going to guess they are not going to import anything without ABS or it's not being made.

I went with the non r - the blue standard is dam sexy (No word anywhere on Canadian Pricing yet =/ )

Yeah paint would be the only reason but honestly there are so few parts it's cheaper to repaint then it is to upgrade the parts. Although if you plan on upgrading parts you can save your money up front and get much better parts when you do.

That was my thinking. I am upgrading from a gs500 so the standard will be a huge improvement. Once I find I need (want) more than the standard I can upgrade the parts.
