Daytona master cylinder on the street triple?

Would it be beneficial to add the daytona brake cylinder to the brakes of the street triple?

i mean, radial mounted brakes are to reduce flexing and whatnot, but what about changing the stock master cylinder of the street triple and mount one from the daytona.

Hi Marien.

Just mounting the Daytona master cylinder to a Street Triple basically isn't a good idea.

The master cylinder is "matched" to the calipers it operates by the factory, and they do a pretty good job, so you'd really have to know what you were trying to do, before you change the size relationship.

OTOH, if you fit Daytona (or R model) calipers, then fitting the Daytona master cylinder is a really good idea.
