Default ticking too loudly? --video

i noticed that my bike is ticking louder ever since i changed my air filter from a dirty old stock to a new k&n.

can anyone give a listen here and see if the ticks are louder than usual? maybe it's my valves? but the bike only has 10k miles.

From what I hear, it sounds like the normal ticking the D675 makes. But I am no mechanic. I get paranoid every once in a while when I listen to my bike and hear the ticking. I had an RC51 that destroyed a cam journal, and that was a true ticking sound (there is a distinct difference).

I don't know what to say is too loud or not. I had a tick in mine that the dealer told me was normal and it turned out to be an exhaust valve shim that was too tight.

how did you find out the shim was too tight if they said it's normal?

did they look over things despite the fact that it was "normal"?

it only bothers me because the sound got louder with the new air filter. does changing the air filter make the ticks louder or something? more air flow -> louder ticks?

It's nearly inaudible, especially compared to mine, lol... Maybe it's more noisy because the tank isn't as well secured as it should ?

Because I did my own valve adjustment 12,000 miles later and the shim on the far left side was the one ticking. I moved it to the far right side and the tick followed it.
