Really didnt see this coming. Ill be on my striple for the next 4 yrs with my earplugs in and I hope we have a country when I get back.out:
Let me guess: You get all your news from Fox...Really didnt see this coming.
You're definitely not alone, a lot of small businesses are feeling the heat from these crappy liberal economic policies. You guys are really the gauge as to whether things are working, and with unemployment STILL around 8% after four years, and the slowest economic recovery since the 1960's, that should scream alarm bells for everyone. Let me say it again: SLOWEST ECONOMIC RECOVERY SINCE THE 1960's! That means not only past republican, but even democratic presidents had faster growing economies in four years. If policies are correct, they don't take four years + to work, they can't blame Bush anymore (who btw had unemployment dropping over most of his presidency, despite his slightly more liberal economic policies).I honestly didn't see this coming either. I should have known better though, our country just cares about what it can get at the moment than the long term effects. For the first time I am just disappointed in my country and have almost no doubt in my mind, this country will never the the power it was.
If things go the way I think it will, such as increased taxes, costs to insure employees and fuel costs. I will be downsizing my company in the next 2 years to just stay in business. Time will tell but the writing is on the wall.
Well now your not thanks to me educating youig·no·rant

Yeah, you guessed it. It IS a motorcycle forum, but one that has an off topic area for subjects such as this. Why did you even visit "the pit" section if you were expecting things directly related to motorcycles? Not even gonna read this. This is a motorcycle forum not a political debate room. Im sorry i got sucked into it.
i am now confused by that statement.
To the subject of not voting... in Australia, everyone votes. It is the law. It's an interesting way to make sure that the majority opinion wins. As a lowly permanent resident, I'm not allowed to vote, though.
