2013 Daytona 675 Reviews

I see there's a couple of reviews on the new 2013 Daytona 675R from the track presser, but I really expected there to be more, and even some head to head comparosins and street testing by now.

Is anyone aware of any specific tests and reviews being done or on their way soon, and pareticularly the standard version as well?

I'm sure their coming. The magazine launch in the USA hasn't happened yet.

This is the only one iv noticed on the web so far, that has been a road test and not at the press launch at Cartagena (track launch)...
Its a bit of a weird review (guy seems a little quirky, haha!), not all that detailed and seems pretty lowish speed, but enjoy!

Any idea when it will take place?

Yeah, I saw that one; pretty worthless, but thanks.

Australian MCN reviewed it last issue (and the STR the issue before that) - haven't got it on me as I am interstate nor can I remember too many details other than in the conclusions being something about the best sportsbike for the money/best handling sportsbike they can remember.

They do digital copies of the mag if anyone desperately needs to read it.

They did, but unfortunately that was from the Cartagena (track) Press launch and wasnt a road test...

That particular review was written by Alan Cathcart and is was published on the net before it found its way into AMCN Magazine (a copy, word for word). That net review was actually posted on here somewhere and although its a great review (similar to most of the other track reviews), its still obviously not a real world road test / review.

Yep - agreed. That linked road test isnt worth much, doesnt really say much but its the only one I have seen yet. Ill keep an eye out though and will post any more as I see them!

Cheers - I couldn't remember much but recall watching the vid of him going around Cartagena so all makes sense now :)

btw, I fully expect this bike to dominate in every measurable way in the supersport class, but we'll see.

I'm intersted in not only some indepth personal observations, but also some raw data, and head to head tests against the current overall class leader; the new Ninja 636.

I expect the new D675 will beat out the new Ninja in pretty much every catagory, which is the only Japanese supersport i really like at all.

Best review I have come across so far, I will be in the market for one of these in a few months.
