Triumph Claims ’09 Market Share Increase

http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/600/55...-Increase.aspx

"Touting MIC numbers, the gain in market share for Triumph extends a five year trend in the US, with 2009 marking the 15th anniversary of the British marque’s return to North America. Referring to the five-year market share growth, Triumph claims to be “one of only two marques that never lost market share in that time period.”

Triumph also boasts a 5.9% increase in sales for December 2009, compared to the same month in 2008."

Very nice, especially when most manufacturers are still in a funk.

Well, that's good news for Triumph and its market expansion while others competitors that I would not named are indeed regressing drastically in North America and Europe.

I believe BMW was the other manufacturer that weathered this storm a bit better than the Japanese manufacturers. This is good news for Triumph in the US, but were there any numbers for worldwide market share/sales?

Yup, good point...
We all win when any bike gets better. The competition is what makes all bikes get better.
