Hey Bud. Thanks for some of the advice you gave me earlier when getting my new 675R track ready. I recently ran one of our faster tracks and did not hit the limiter on the streight with the stock gearing. I want to drop it down a little to get some more drive midrange in the corners. TJ suggests to just a 15/48, which is just one up in the rear. My gut feel is it needs to be a 49 rear to even notice the difference and make the 520 conversion worth the money. What has been your experience with successful gearing and if you had to pick one to run all the time, what would be your first setup?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

I was looking at your Daytona race fairings job. Looks beautiful.

Are you willing to sell the OEM street plastics and pillion seat?

    Thanks,
    Elan

hello dear: my name is jhohane, and I know that your probbably super busy, and I notice that you have a lot experience(reading your posts) perfoming the valve adjustment service. And I Wanted to ask you: how often the daytonas (older models 2006) needed to be adjusted? the reason i'm asking it's because i just hit the 12k and i wanted to keep riding but i wanna wait a little bit on the valve service(money). I don't do any track, just riding a little fast on the twisties. If you got any advice for me, i will really appreciatted, Thank you very much in advance.

Hi there, Reading through some old posts i understand that you may have mounted a 09 daytona fairing onto an older model? I have a 09 daytona which i smashed up a bit recentley and ive come across some 08 fairings and headlights, Will the front fairing join up to the belly fairings no problem, and will the ECU recognize the lighting unit?

Hi MGFChapin, I'm PonK, PM you with an introduction from tooblekain.
    I heard that you've got two generation of daytona675, '06 and '09.
What I want to ask is that about brake pads for '09 daytona.
Please see the thread below for more details.
    Thanks!
